Hello, Chesnee Choirs friends and family!
It seems like April has come and gone, and already we are counting down the final days to our “final” events.
Our main event in April was our last trip to Clemson to perform in the Men’s and Women’s Choir concert. Viva Voce performed two pieces on their own, and then combined with both choirs (over 150 students!) for one piece that I had the honor of conducting!
We ended up moving our Honors Project Concert to the evening of our spring concert to allow more rehearsal time. The project consists of songs, poetry, and artwork on the topic of beauty. They have written the script and selected the music for this program, and I’m proud of how it is turning out! They have done a great job!
I hope you’ll join us for our Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:00pm in the auditorium! Chesnee Singers will be singing about 6 pieces, followed by Viva Voce’s concert repertoire, a brief scene change and then Viva Voce will present their currently untitled Honors Project.
Happy last month of school! :)
